Louis Vuitton Transforms Zuma Mykonos

The iconic restaurant will be taken over by the big LV for the last weeks of the summer season.

By Bea Isaacson

Summer isn’t over – far from it. In news that will no doubt charm fashionistas, foodies and sun chasers worldwide, Louis Vuitton will be taking over the pool of Zuma Mykonos, one of the island’s hottest restaurants.

From August 1 through September 4, guests of Zuma Mykonos can celebrate the last weeks of the summer season with LV By the Pool, which celebrates the partnership between one of the world’s most iconic luxury brands with some of the island’s greatest gastronomy.

And the pool takeover will be anything but subtle. The world famous LV monogram will feature on various amenities, including the pool beds and even the pool itself. Guests can also look forward to the brand splashed across sunbeds, towels, pillows and accessories, all directly inspired by Louis Vuitton’s By the Pool collection.

Shades of ocean blue and brilliant white have been purposefully selected to mimic the palette of the sun, sea and sky, as well as reflecting that of Greece’s national colors. Zuma Mykonos is the perfect spot for it; those that know it will know its pool, which overlooks the Aegean Sea, boasts one of the great spots across the island for catching those gorgeous island vistas.

During the day guests can take advantage of the pool menu, which draws inspiration from Japanese cuisine to embellish classic pool-side dishes; favorites include the lobster roll and wagyu tarte roll, and – of course – the Zuma cheesecake sundae, a fusion of guava sorbet, cream cheese ice cream, cashew nut crumble and raspberry.
