As if St Tropez’s Louis Vuitton restaurant couldn’t get any chicer, the luxury fashion powerhouse has announced it will be welcoming Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Donckele to take the helm of its restaurant at the White 1921 Hotel.
This will be the second luxury hotel restaurant led by Donckele in the French Riviera town, who is also the chef at La Vague d’Or at Cheval Blanc St Tropez. He will be heading up the restaurant with his friend Maxime Frédéric, who is head of the Louis Vuitton café and chocolate shop for the LV Dream exhibition.
The two chefs, who both share roots in the Northern French district of Normandy, are committed to locally produced ingredients with an emphasis on seasonal produce of the highest quality.

Diners at the Louis Vuitton St Tropez restaurant can look forward to a menu that celebrates Mediterranean flavors and spotlights the bountiful offerings of the region’s sea and land. Highlights include Genoese gamberoni, truffle-stuffed Italian zitone pasta, and Moroccan spiced lamp chops.
And akin to the fashion house itself, Donckele and Frédéric are utterly dogmatic in their shared commitment to quality excellence of the highest order, utilizing the best materials and sources to create flawless art, whether that be a lifelong purchase or a memorable meal.
The décor of the restaurant will remain the same, with the blue and white tile pattern reflecting the Louis Vuitton “By the Pool” resort collection, in which the motif is present across the restaurant’s outdoor and indoor interior design.

The restaurant also draws on the natural palette of St Tropez’s beach ambiance with light-colored stone, wood and ceramic characterizing the space, and nautical blue and white tones reflecting the sea and the sky.
This is not the first time Louis Vuitton has entered into industries outside of its traditional fashion sphere. Whether it is an airport lounge or the increasing union between music and style, the French brand has been relentless in its expansion beyond its usual – and ever-chic – clothing and accessories.
