Opulent Beachfront Living on The Palm, Dubai

Property of the Week: Six Senses Residences The Palm is a first for The UAE.

By Serina Tatham

Slated to open in 2024, Six Senses Residences The Palm is an exciting addition to the group’s worldwide collection of luxury hotels and branded residences. Standing elegantly on the West Crescent, the residences are a testament to Dubai’s transformation from a bustling port town into a thriving cosmopolitan city. A first for the brand, this LEED-certified development marks The UAE’s first-ever Six Senses Residences.

From its sunny climate, its technological and cultural advances, and its access to a lavish and opulent lifestyle, Dubai is the perfect locale for high-net-worth individuals on both a professional and personal level. “In the eyes of the international buyer, Dubai’s profile is strengthened by its low-interest rates, innovative new visa initiatives, and a rich, imminent stock of high-end turnkey residential property,” explains Kerry McClinton-King, sales and marketing at Six Senses Residences.

Strategically located, the residences offer privacy while boasting stunning vistas of the Gulf seascape and the Dubai skyline. Inspired by coral, the undulating silhouettes around the development reflect this and encourage efforts to preserve the reefs.

Offering 162 branded residences, including penthouses and Sky Villas, the most impressive are the Five Bedroom Signature Villas. A staggering 26,500 sq ft of living space seamlessly merges the interior and exterior, mirroring the contrast of desert and sea. “From the desert dunes to the coral beneath the sea, nature and the surrounding environment has been the main inspiration for the architectural narrative,” McClinton-King describes.

Echoing the landscape, the residence is completed in a natural palette of renders, stones and metals. Indoor/outdoor living is naturally a theme here: the open floorplan and floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of the location and make the space feel expansive.

Outside, natural ponds and large Wadi boulders create a sanctuary. Each Signature Villa also boasts a garden with palm-framed views of the beach and an infinity pool – the perfect backdrop for evening entertaining. You will also have access to the central garden where you will find hills, valley paths, courtyards and a private beach.

Dubai is known for luxury, and Six Senses The Palm is no exception. When asked how the team behind the development wants homeowners to feel, McClinton-King said: “We want our residents to feel they are part of something truly unique, with the knowledge that not only will their homes be built to the highest specification with best-in-class partners, but that they are receiving a one-of-a-kind lifestyle experience.”

As well the residences at Six Senses The Palm, there is a 61-room hotel with 60,000 sq ft of wellness and lifestyle facilities – all of which you can benefit from. Among the offerings, Six Senses Place has a longevity clinic, IV lounge, biohacking room, Six Senses Spa, restaurants and various sports courts. Adopting the Six Senses belief that wellness is a result of mental, physical, spiritual and emotional happiness, this unique space will get you in the best shape of your life – inside and out.

Raffles Istanbul: A Destination Within a Destination

“Our location on Palm Jumeirah’s West Crescent offers the opportunity to create a destination within a destination, where we can create a true sense of community for our guests and residence owners around some amazing facilities and access to a proper beach,” says McClinton-King.

“It’s ultimately the best of both worlds – a resort and urban hotel in the same destination.” Providing residential owners with a new way of community living, it allows for a sense of seclusion while still being surrounded by a buzz and all the facilities you could ever dream of.
