Where is the best place to buy authentic tequila and mezcal of the highest quality, supporting local communities and Mexican artisans? Continuing its evolution from solely a spirit brand to one that represents Mexican culture in its entirety, Clase Azul México now has two boutique stores.
Creating the ultimate retail experience, these boutiques allow visitors to explore the world of Clase Azul via three categories: interactive experiences, culinary and retail. Not only are these boutiques stocked with all the classic icons from Clase Azul México, but they are also the only location where you can purchase several exclusive limited-edition offerings.
The upcoming 2023 Dia de Muertos Limited Edition — an annual must-have for collectors — will only be available for purchase at one of the brand’s boutiques, presenting them as true luxury shopping destinations.
Los Cabos, Baja California Sur in Mexico encompasses everything Clase Azul México is about. It’s a classic luxury destination, brimming with deep-rooted Mexican traditions and respect for artisanship. This positioning made it the ideal first location for Clase Azul’s newly formed hospitality arm, Clase Azul Destinations.
Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos is the ultimate way to experience Clase Azul México. The destination features a boutique, restaurant, bar, omakase and tasting experience, so there is something to suit everyone’s desires.
“We exist to captivate the world through the magic of Mexican culture, and our distillates are just the beginning,” says Arturo Lomeli, founder of Clase Azul México. “We want to create spaces where our brand comes to life.”
In addition to the boutique store, found in the prime location of The Shoppes at Palmilla, Clase Azul México also has a boutique at Los Cabos International Airport, making buying a gift or keepsake from your adventure to Los Cabos easier than ever.
Each decanter is an impressive demonstration of craftsmanship, so once you have finished enjoying its contents, it makes a great item for display.

Design
Considered design that pays homage to Mexico’s wealth of artisans flows through everything that Clase Azul México does. Their boutiques in Los Cabos are no exception. In fact, it could be the finest example. The decisions and design elements in each location have been thoroughly thought out.
The walls of the boutiques are decorated with elegant agave leaf-like tiles that have been handcrafted in-house by Clase Azul México’s team, the very same artisans that create their iconic tequila and mezcal decanters.
The centerpiece of the boutiques is a beautiful couch, handcrafted with a clear nod to Mexican heritage. The bespoke piece was formed as part of a collaboration with lead industrial designer Joan José Nemer and architect Mauricio Alvarez and utilizes both vegan leather and marble.
Such design elements culminate in a true boutique experience that ensures a visit is far more than a trip to the store; it’s stepping into the Clase Azul México thought process, and truly experiencing what Mexico has to offer.
It’s not just the boutique either, every aspect of the destination, Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos, is thought-provoking.
The walls of the restaurant are made out of Chukum, a material that dates back to Mayan times. A plaster made from the sap of a tree that bears the same name and is abundant in this region, Chukum links the restaurant’s very walls to the origins of Mexico’s rich history.
A visit to this destination acts as a deep dive into the complex eccentricity of this nation’s culture.

Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos
The Clase Azul boutique in Los Cabos is a single part of a larger destination, Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos. Inspired by the dramatic geography of Los Cabos — the point where land meets the sea — La Terraza is a culmination of everything Clase Azul México has to offer.
After spending some time shopping, you’re sure to be hungry, so a trip to the restaurant in La Terraza Los Cabos is a must. In-house creative chef Iván Arias has curated a menu that takes diners on a gastronomic journey through the vast Baja peninsula, with all the ingredients sourced from the region.
The best meals are always followed by a trip to the bar, and El Bar is quite a special one. Beverage strategist Sheila Zenteno has formed a cocktail list using Clase Azul’s superb tequila and mezcal in addition to local flavors.
The final two elements of La Terraza Los Cabos are for those looking to elevate the food and drink to the max.
A Taste of Culture has been a cornerstone of Clase Azul Mexico since 2021. It is a luxurious tasting session where spirits are presented alongside multisensory pairings to enhance the flavors. Both exclusive and theatrical, it’s a great way to try the wide range of Clase Azul offerings.
Clase Azul Omakase brings the classic, intimate omakase tasting format to Los Cabos. This time Iván Arias brings a 14-course experience with a Mexican twist.
Clase Azul México has built its reputation on high-quality craftsmanship and honoring Mexican tradition, this Clase Azul destination takes that a step further.
