This Idaho Property is Peak Luxury Set in Prime Nature

Property of the Week: Driggs, Idaho is set to be the next big ski destination. Don’t miss out

By Bea Isaacson

Move over, Aspen. With a 12% population increase between 2020 and 2022, and an booming expansion of luxury property and subsequent communities across the valley, it is fair to ask – if not, even, to assert – that Driggs, Idaho, is the next big thing in American ski destinations.

As picturesque as an all-American postcard – the brilliantly maintained architecture and the cheery bright colors of the town feel akin to a Western movie set, whilst the landscape is near-unrivaled for its dramatic vistas of mountains and forests – Driggs should be on everyone’s radar for vacation home shopping.

One such example of the growing Idaho luxury property market in Driggs – which is located just over the Teton Pass from Jackson Hole – is the private residential club community, Tributary. And it is the community’s 1070 Shasta Daisy Court, first built in 2022 and on the market for $4.95m, that is of particular interest.

Coming in at 5,041 sq ft, and boasting breathtaking views of the Grand Teton mountain and Big Hole mountains that so characterize the region’s dramatic beauty, this Idaho property features five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, making it perfect for both families and entertaining.

Architectural firm Northworks Architects has done a sublime job of maximizing these mesmerizing vistas that surround the property through gracious windows throughout, while design studio WRJ Design Associates has rendered the house a contemporary dream with features such as an expansive open concept living room, an oversized media room with a fireplace and bar, and a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances.

“Situated within the private residential club community Tributary in Driggs, Idaho, the home on Shasta Daisy Court blends elements of the Teton mountain backdrop with contemporary modern design to create a breath-taking home with access to countless outdoor pursuits ideal for those raising a family or looking for a second-home mountain retreat,” says Jeff Heilbrun, director of real estate at Tributary.

The sustainability features of the Idaho property within Tributary, which includes for residents a two-mile boardwalk, an 18-hole golf course, a wellness facility and more, are also notable in the designers’ pursuit to maintain and enhance the local wildlife. Heilburn comments: “It is imperative to our team that Tributary protects the native flora and fauna of Driggs.”

“Five-hundred acres of fen-designated wetlands were designed to protect the wildlife within the low-density community in addition to several ponds which inhabit local species including nesting trumpeter swans, long-billed curlews, waterfowl and shorebirds,” he continued.
