It seems fitting to begin our list of lavish city suites in the Big Apple. Walking through the immaculate gated courtyard and into the impressive lobby of Lotte New York Palace, you know you’re in for a serious treat. If you’re planning a trip to Nashville, The Joseph is well worth a visit. Next on our list is the ultra-luxe Rosewood Hong Kong. The best place to take in the magnificent views is Harbour House up on the 57th floor. Rajmahal Palace Jaipur, Maharaja Suite
Set within the UNESCO world heritage site of the ‘Pink city’ of Jaipur, this 18th-century palace was originally built for the royal family of Rajasthan. As you would expect, the interiors are fit for a king. With just 13 rooms and suites, the Art Deco hotel guarantees the utmost privacy for its guests. The 3,126-sq-ft Maharaja Suite is not to be missed. Previously the private suite of the two Maharajas, Sawai Man Singh II and his son Sawai Bhawani Singh, the entrance hall is filled with relics from its royal past. The apartment is bursting with color, from its bespoke patterned wallpaper to the plush red velvet chairs dotting the master bedroom. Of course, there’s plenty of room for entertaining thanks to the spacious living room, separate bar and drawing room which opens onto a private terrace.
