This year marks Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, in which Queen Elizabeth II will also be celebrating an unprecedented 70 years on the throne, making her the longest-serving British monarch in history. Naturally, this will be a time of great celebration and jubilation across the country, with events planned in honor of the Queen stretching from the coasts of Cornwall to the northmost Highlands. We’ve rounded up our favorite spots to celebrate such a marvelous occasion.

Conrad London St. James
Only a stone’s throw away from Buckingham Palace itself, the 5-star Conrad London St. James has curated a spectacular list of the city’s Royal Warrant Holders, uniting a sparkling variety of the best retailers across the nation, all of which are in personal use by the Royal Family themselves.
From Burberry fashions to Asprey jewelers for women, to Saville Row tailors Henry Noble for men- to even a private tour at Bentley dealers H R Own- the package, which is available throughout the summer season, includes a Fortnum & Mason welcome gift, a Royal Tea, and even personalized shopping upon request.
Beaverbrook
The quintessentially British Beaverbrook, nestled into the green and pleasant lands of the Surrey Hills twenty miles out of London, has composed the ultimate Jubilee celebrations in partnership with MOKE International.
In what is an exclusive experience for the summer, MOKE International is offering guests the chance to get behind two unique Union Jack themed cars for a roaring automobile experience in the heart of the English countryside.
Also boasting an itinerary including hot air balloon dining, a Downton Abbey inspired picnic adventure, themed cocktails and even a croquet masterclass, Beaverbrook is bringing back the fun and glamour of the old-school.

The Dorchester
Embedded with its own vivid relationship with the Royal Family- this is the hotel that Queen Elizabeth II attended as a Princess the night before her engagement to Prince Phillip, and the latter held his subsequent stag do- expectations were high for The Dorchester’s official Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and their offerings do not disappoint.
Running just over the Bank Holiday Jubilee weekend, the hotel is offering a Jubilee Afternoon Tea, a Jubilee Sunday Lunch at The Grill, and- our favorite, admittedly- live music and cocktails on their unparalleled The Dorchester Rooftop, with perfect views of the RAF fly-past.
Shangri-La The Shard
Bringing in 70 years of the Queen’s reign at the highest hotel bar in Western Europe is an experience unique to the wholly capable Shangri-La at The Shard. With views overlooking the capital and stretching all the way to Hampton Court, and a cocktail designed especially for the occasion inspired by the Queen’s own personal favorite tipple, this is celebrating the Jubilee, 21st-century style.
Also included is a new ticketing partnership with Historic Royal Palaces when you book a two-night stay at the luxury hotel. Offering private morning or evening tours through the Tower of London, Kensington Palace or Hampton Court Palace, Shangri-La has also transformed its hotel to mirror that of a midsummer English flower garden.
Cliveden House
An establishment of English glamour and international intrigue for over 350 years, the spectacular Cliveden House was always going to put on a show for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The country house- now a luxury hotel- has earned its rightful place within the nation’s consciousness through playing host to royal figures such as a Prince of Wales, two Dukes, the Astors, and even being the location of the zeitgeist-defining Profumo affair.
Today, Cliveden House has retired its reputation for scandal, whilst retaining all the glitz of generations gone by. This summer, Cliveden has curated three afternoon teas; one of which is vegan; in honor of the Platinum Jubilee.
The Milestone
Promising guests a two-night royal package to experience the very best of London is a tall order, but with The Milestone’s zealous commitment to luxury and flawless application of detail, any guest partaking in their Platinum Jubilee experience should know they are in the best possible hands.
The itinerary, which starts with arrival at the hotel via private Bentley transfer to a champagne reception, includes a private tour of nearby Kensington Palace, an exclusive live recital by members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, fabulous dining and brilliant custom-made cocktails.
ME London
History buffs and cocktail connoisseurs unite: ME London, London’s outlet of luxury hotel brand ME by Meliá, are launching not one, but eight cocktails all directly inspired- and even named after- each decade of the monarch’s 70-year reign.
From the 1983 “Royal Salute” drawing inspiration from the Queen’s dedication to the Armed Forces and dedicated to their health, to the 2000 “Elizabeth” served in a teapot and symbolizing Queen Elizabeth’s close friendship with Nelson Mandela- so close, apparently, that the latter would refer to the former by just her name, hence the cocktail- drinks will be served in the hotel’s gorgeous and glorious Radio Rooftop, boasting views across the capital.
The Wigmore at The Langham
Located in the heart of the beautiful Georgian Regent Street, The Langham hotel is offering a plethora of activities to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne, drawing inspiration from the royal herself and wider British culture, both contemporary and historically.
Early summer- the 25 May to 26 June, to be exact- sees a Jubilee Afternoon Tea hosted in the Palm Court, in which guests are treated to a selection of treats known to be favorited by the Queen herself, including cheese scones and Scottish smoked salmon sandwiches. Specially prepared cocktails for the grand occasion are also on offer. And desiring to drink like a Brit? The celebrations continue at The Langham’s own pub, in which Jubilee celebrations will be screened throughout the weekend.
Our favorite detail, however, deserves its own shout out: with respect to The Queen’s famous love for her own corgis, The Pub will be welcoming four-legged friends throughout, with dogs receiving complimentary Woof and Brew beer.
