Situated on the edge of Canal Street overlooking the Mississippi River, Four Seasons New Orleans is the perfect spot for exploring the city. The iconic 34-story hotel was built in 1967 by respected modernist architect Edward Durell Stone and underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar transformation by Four Seasons before welcoming its first guests in 2021.
For the best views at the hotel, opt to stay in one of two Presidential Suites, up on the 17th and 18th floors. The sprawling 2,439-sq-ft suites are a picture of refined elegance in shades of crimson and cobalt. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal sweeping vistas of the river below while carefully curated local artworks adorn the walls.
More akin to apartments than hotel rooms, the suites are identical other than the color scheme and feature a king-size bedroom complete with an enormous walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with double vanities and a free-standing oval tub.

Ideal for entertaining, the suites boast an expansive dining/living area with a table that comfortably seats 10 guests. Ensuring you have everything you need without having to step foot outside, the luxurious abodes have their own fitness room with a Peloton bike, private office, and butler’s pantry. A 24-hour concierge team is on-hand to cater to even the smallest request.
If you’re traveling in a larger group, you also have the option to connect the Presidential Suites with a king or double room to create a three-bedroom suite.
When it comes to dining at Four Seasons New Orleans, you’re spoilt for choice. The hotel features two gourmet eateries and a stylish bar serving champagne, cocktails and caviar.
As you would expect from a Four Seasons property, the hotel is also home to an idyllic spa where you can enjoy an array of treatments including customized facials and signature massages. After a long day out in the city, take a dip in the hotel’s 75-ft crescent-shaped outdoor pool or relax with a glass of champagne in the heated spa tub.
