Journey Through History with Baccarat

First commissioned by French royalty, Baccarat crystal has since become a global luxury icon. With 252 years of history and influence, the brand is now inviting guests to hear their story first-hand with the Baccarat Heritage Experience, an extraordinary tour through six cities.

The trip will commence at the luxurious Baccarat Hotel in New York with a stay in the Baccarat Suite. Guests will have afternoon tea in the Grand Salon followed by an exclusive after hours visit to Baccarat’s flagship boutique on Madison Avenue for a glass of champagne. Day Two will indulge guests at Spa de La Mer, a collaboration between the Baccarat Hotel and ultra-luxe skincare brand La Mer, for a bespoke La Mer Baccarat Facial. On the third day, guests will travel by private plane from New York to Paris to begin their international voyage through Baccarat’s rich history. Over nine days, guests will experience an inspiring itinerary of exclusive activities in Paris, Istanbul, Moscow, Tokyo and Seoul.

In Paris, guests will enjoy a private tour of the Maison and Musée Baccarat, a visit to the Louvre and a helicopter trip to Lorraine, Baccarat’s place of origin. Next, an Istanbul excursion will include the crystal-filled palaces of Berlebey and Dolmabahce where guests can view custom chandeliers dating back to the Ottoman Empire. The journey will continue to Moscow to discover the relationship between Baccarat and the Russian royal family, tour Maison Baccarat Moscow and meet French chef Michel Lentz for a bespoke lunch menu. Once in Tokyo, guests will spend time in the Marunouchi neighborhood for designer shopping, fine dining and a visit to the Japanese boutique. Guests will be introduced to the B Bar experience, where highly-trained bartenders will serve cocktails, wine and champagne in any Baccarat glass of the guest’s choosing. The last leg will fly guests to South Korea for a VIP tour of Baccarat’s newest Maison in Seoul, opened in December 2015. On the final day, guests will return to New York on a private flight.
