It’s been an exciting year for luxury hotel openings in London with Raffles at The OWO, The Peninsula, and 1 Hotels among the heavyweights putting down roots in the city. But there’s also been a slew of boutiques shaking things up, including newcomer Broadwick Soho.
The independent hotel, which is set to welcome guests on November 15, is owned by Noel Hayden – a British entrepreneur who grew up at his family’s hotel, Mon Ami, on the UK’s south coast in Bournemouth. Thirty-five years later, Hayden has teamed up with his tight-knit group of friends to fulfill his life-long dream of opening a luxury hotel in the heart of London.
Situated in the capital’s vibrant Soho neighborhood, on the corner of Broadwick Street and Berwick Street, the property has just 57 rooms. Hayden brought in acclaimed designer Martin Brudnizki (the creative mind behind the glamorous interiors at Annabel’s private members club) for the project.

Inspired by his nostalgia for Mon Ami, the interiors are peppered with subtle nods to Hayden’s family. Each of the rooms has been beautifully decorated with bespoke furnishings, carefully selected artworks, intricate patterned wallpaper, and soft woven rugs.
The most exclusive abode of all is the Penthouse Suite which features a spacious terrace looking out over the London skyline and an opulent Giallo Siena marble bathroom complete with a free-standing tub.
Elsewhere at Broadwick Soho, on the lower ground floor, you’ll find a cozy Italian restaurant – Dear Jackie – named after Hayden’s mother. Serving reimagined classic dishes with a contemporary touch, the eatery is decked out with striking red silk walls and plush booths.
Upstairs is Bar Jacki – an all-day Italian bar and terrace ideal for whiling away an evening with a glass of wine or cocktail from the inviting green leather banquette.
Other places to relax and unwind include Flute (a rooftop dining bar with a wraparound outdoor terrace) and The Nook (the ground-floor lounge where guests can read a book by the roaring fireplace).
Look out for the hotel’s extensive art collection; pieces by the likes of Francis Bacon, Andy Warhol, and Bridget Riley are dotted throughout the property.
