This will be a very dynamic system as there will be tons of wind energy, but the good news is that this setup does not look favorable to be a significant tornado threat. However, a few spin-up tornadoes will be possible along the main line of storms.

A very dynamic system with a strong cold front will move through Central Alabama during the latter part of Friday and into the early morning hours on Saturday that will bring us a wide gamut of weather conditions... from strong to severe storms to sleet and snow. Most of us in Central Alabama will enjoy a great and warm weekend, but a few showers and storms may sneak into the western parts on Sunday afternoon. Strong to severe storms look to be possible on Monday. Dry weather will return late on Wednesday.
