A Quick Update from NWS Birmingham on Central Alabama Impacts

CENTRAL ALABAMA IMPACTS

TORNADOES: Brief tornadoes are possible on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

WIND: Potential for wind gusts up to 30 due to the pressure gradient, isolated damaging wind gusts up to 60 MPH possible in stronger to severe storms.

RAIN: Potential for 2.00-3.00 inches in the northwestern parts of Central Alabama; generally 1.00 inches or less south of the I-20/59 corridor.
