Not Too Bad At All Outside At Midday

Much of Central Alabama is seeing a decent amount of sunshine as we have reached the midday hour on this final “Hump Day” for March. The north and northwestern parts of the area still have a good bit of cloud cover blocking out the sunshine, while much of the central and south-central arts of the area have nearly total sunshine. A few clouds are dotting the skies over the extreme southern parts of the area. Temperatures as of the 12:00 pm Round-Up are in the mid-50s to the lower 80s across the area. Haleyville was the cool spot at 59 degrees while the warm spot was Montgomery at 80 degrees. Birmingham was at 67 degrees.

For the rest of today, skies will continue to mostly clear out and become mostly sunny this afternoon. Afternoon hours will be in the lower 70s to the mid-80s across the area from the northwest to the southeast. We’ll have mostly clear skies tonight and through the overnight hours. Lows will bottom out in the upper 40s to the mid-50s.

Thursday will be an absolutely wonderful day across the area, as skies will be sunny and temperatures will be warm. Highs will max out in the lower 80s to near 90 degrees from the north to south across the area.
