Some Clouds Hanging Tough While Most Are Seeing Plenty Of Sunshine

As of 10:15 this morning, we have mostly sunny skies across the western two-thirds of Central Alabama, while the extreme eastern parts of the area still have mostly cloudy skies. There are a couple of isolated showers showing up on radar over the eastern half of Bullock County, but these are very light at the moment. Temperatures were in the lower 60s to just at 70 degrees across the area. Birmingham was at 64 degrees. Several locations were tied as the cool spots at 63 degrees. Selma and Montgomery were tied as the warm spots at 70 degrees.


WEATHER FOR THE REST OF YOUR TUESDAY
Clouds will continue to decrease across Central Alabama throughout the remainder of the afternoon hours and we’ll end up with mainly sunny skies before sunset. Afternoon highs will reach the mid-60s to the mid-70s across the area from northwest to southeast. For tonight and through the overnight hours, skies will be mainly clear and we’ll have cool temperatures. Lows will be in the lower 40s to the lower 50s from northwest to southeast.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEATHER FOR YOUR HUMP DAY
Wednesday will be just an outstanding weather day across Central Alabama as we can expect near-maximum sunshine and warmer temperatures. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 60s to the upper 70s across the area from northwest to southeast. Much of the late-night hours will remain clear, but clouds will begin to move in from the west during the overnight hours. We’ll remain dry and lows will be in the upper 40s to the mid-50s.


THE TROPICS

It remains mighty calm out over the Atlantic Basin and no new tropical cyclones are expected to form within the next five days.
