Dense Fog Advisory Through Much Of Tuesday Morning

NWS Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 9:00 AM Tuesday for the following counties in Central Alabama: Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston.

NWS Huntsville has issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10:00 AM Tuesday for the following counties in North Alabama: Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan.

Rapidly fluctuating visibility in areas of locally dense fog will result in hazardous traveling conditions. Slow down and allow extra travel time when encountering reduced visibility situations.
