A Wind Advisory starts at 10:00 am for these counties in Central Alabama: Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lowndes, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston. It is set to expire at 5:00 pm.

A Wind Advisory starts at 10:00 am for these counties in North Alabama: Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan. It is set to expire at 5:00 pm.

* WHAT…Southeast to south winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.

* WHEN…From 10 AM this morning to 5 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
