Significant Wx Advisory For Parts Of Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Tuscaloosa Counties Until 1:00 PM

At 1155 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking rain showers along with strong winds along a line extending from near Smithville to 6 miles east of Gordo. Movement was north at 75 mph.

Strong winds with this activity are downing trees across portions of Pickens and Lamar Counties. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this activity.

Hamilton, Winfield, Fayette, Aliceville, Vernon, Sulligent, Gordo, Reform, Millport, Carrollton, Guin, Hackleburg, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Kennedy, Detroit, Belk, Beaverton, Gu-Win and Ethelsville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
