Low End Severe Threat Continues For The East, Central And West Is All Clear

There is a low potential for severe thunderstorms through 8:00 pm, mainly along and east of a line from Gadsden, to Sylacauga, to Montgomery. The primary threats include brief tornadoes and isolated damaging winds. West of that line, the severe threat has ended for the evening.

In addition, gusty winds up to 35 mph are possible through 8:00 pm, generally for the eastern two thirds of Central Alabama.

Rain has come to an end west of the I-65 corridor, while the ragged line of showers continues to move slowly eastward stretching from Huntsville to Talladega to Montgomery.
