Significant Weather Advisory: Fayette County Until 6:15 PM CST

Untitled.jpgStrong thunderstorms are currently located in a line near Beaverton extending to near Steens. These storms are moving to the east at 35 MPH. Wind gusts of up to 50 MPH can be expected with these storms, and therefore the National Weather Service has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for Fayette County until 6:15 PM CST. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Areas in the path are listed below:

WINFIELD, FAYETTE, BERRY, GLEN ALLEN, BELK, GU-WIN, BOLEY SPRINGS, BANKSTON, BLUFF, FAYETTE COUNTY PUBLIC LAKE, STONE WALL, WAYSIDE, FOWLERS CROSSROADS, RICHARD ARTHUR FIELD, BAZEMORE, HUBBERTVILLE AND BEVILL STATE COLLEGE FAYETTE.
